What we welcome
We are interested in original essays, reported features, interviews and clear, useful explainers that reveal a specific part of life around sport. Strong proposals give readers a subject to think about without reducing a person to a result or turning one experience into a universal claim.
A good pitch
Tell us the central idea, why it matters to readers and what shape the piece could take. Include relevant experience or access only when it directly supports the proposal. Do not send confidential personal information or assume that a sensitive story will be published.
